桐朋女子高等学校音楽科を経て、同大学音楽学部をチェロ科首席で卒業。同年卒業演奏会に出演。古川展生氏に師事する。
第38回草津夏期国際音楽アカデミーにて西村朗音楽監督賞を受賞。
アニメ「オルタンシア・サーガ」、Amazon CM「見つけてほしい日本が、あります」、スマホゲーム「荒野のコトブキ飛行隊」挿入曲の演奏を担当するなど、レコーディングにも多く携わる。
これまでにX JAPAN、YOSHIKI、Boyz II Men等様々なアーティストのライブツアーに参加。
BS朝日「My Anniversary SONG」、BS-TBS「Live ON！うた好きショータイム」、「うた恋！音楽会」、日本テレビ 「バズリズム02」、TBS「CDTVライブ! ライブ!」にアーティストサポートで出演。
現在、ジャンルを問わず様々なフィールドで活動する傍ら、学習院初等科管弦楽部チェロ講師を務めるなど後進の指導にもあたる。ChouChou Quartet、PETALUX、Filmusicusメンバー。
フジパシフィックミュージックよりデビューアルバム『Cellody…』をリリース。ZENTA STUDIOより各配信サイトにて『Traveler』シングル配信中。
Risako Okamoto
After graduating from the music department of Toho Girls' High School, she graduated from the music department of the same university as the chief of the cello department. She appeared in the graduation concert in the same year. She studies under Nobuo Furukawa.
She won the Akira Nishimura Music Director Award at the 38th Kusatsu Summer International Music Academy.
She is also involved in many recordings, including playing the anime "Hortensia Saga", the Amazon CM "There is Japan I want you to find", and the insert song for the smartphone game "The Magnificent Kotobuki Squadron".
She has participated in live tours of various artists such as X JAPAN, YOSHIKI and Boyz II Men.
She supported BS Asahi "My Anniversary SONG", BS-TBS "Live ON! Uta Favorite Showtime", "Uta Koi! Ongakukai", NTV "Buzz Rhythm 02", and TBS "CDTV Live! Live!" Appearance.
She is currently active in various fields regardless of genre, and also teaches younger generations, such as serving as a cello instructor at the Gakushuin Elementary School Orchestra. She is a member of Chou Chou Quartet, PETALUX and Filmusicus.
Released her debut album "Cellody…" from Fuji Pacific Music, and "Traveler" single from ZENTA STUDIO is now available on various distribution sites.
