桐朋女子高等学校音楽科を経て、同大学音楽学部をチェロ科首席で卒業。同年卒業演奏会に出演。古川展生氏に師事する。
第38回草津夏期国際音楽アカデミーにて西村朗音楽監督賞を受賞。
アニメ『空色ユーティリティ』挿入曲や、大阪・関西万博パソナパビリオンの演奏を担当するなどレコーディングにも多く携わる。
これまでにX JAPAN、YOSHIKI、遊助等様々なアーティストのライブツアーに参加。
BS朝日「My Anniversary SONG」、BS-TBS「Live ON！うた好きショータイム」、「うた恋！音楽会」、日本テレビ 「バズリズム02」、TBS「CDTVライブ! ライブ!」にアーティストサポートで出演。
テレビ朝日「ザワつく！音楽会」では高橋克典氏の講師を務める。
現在、ジャンルを問わず様々なフィールドで活動する傍ら、学習院初等科管弦楽部チェロ講師を務めるなど後進の指導にもあたる。
フジパシフィックミュージックよりデビューアルバム『Cellody…』をリリース。ZENTA STUDIOより各配信サイトにて『Traveler』シングル配信中。
Risako Okamoto
After graduating from the Toho Girls' High School Music Department, she graduated at the top of her class from the Toho Gakuen School of Music, specializing in cello. She performed in the graduation concert that same year. She studied under Nobuo Furukawa.
She received the Akira Nishimura Music Director Award at the 38th Kusatsu Summer International Music Academy.
She has been involved in numerous recordings, including composing insert songs for the anime "Sora-iro Utility" and performing at the Pasona Pavilion at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
She has participated in live tours for various artists, including X JAPAN, YOSHIKI, and Yusuke.
She has appeared as artist support on BS Asahi's "My Anniversary SONG," BS-TBS's "Live ON! Utasuki Showtime" and "Utakoi! Ongakukai," Nippon Television's "Buzz Rhythm 02," and TBS's "CDTV Live! Live!"
She served as an instructor for Katsunori Takahashi on TV Asahi's "Zawatsuku! Ongakukai."
Currently, while active in various fields across genres, she also dedicates herself to teaching, serving as a cello instructor for the Gakushuin Elementary School Orchestra. They released their debut album "Cellody…" from Fuji Pacific Music. Their single "Traveler" is currently available for download on various streaming platforms from ZENTA STUDIO.
